-Required for every participant

-Must be completed before the first meet

• Season Dates

-Practice starts pending weather of Feb 18th 2025

-Meets are on Saturdays starting March 15th and ending with the Cornhusker Trap Shoot May 1-3rd 2025

• Practice

-Starts on Feb. 18th

-Takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays

-Location is at Lincoln Trap and Skeet on trap house 8 & 9 (far West end)

-Practice start time is 4pm and usually takes around 1 - 2 hours depending on the number of kids

-Usually shoot 2 rounds or 50 rock

-The Cornhusker Trap Shoot at the end of the season is located in Doniphan - www.cornhusker-trap.com

-Squad - a group of 5 shooters when possible

-Junior Division (grade 6-8) shoot 50 rock from the 16yd line as a squad

-Senior Division (grade 9-12) shoot 50 rock from the 16yd line as a team squad and 50 rock from their Handicap

-After all shooters have completed the 16yd round, Handicaps will start

-Handicaps are calculated from the number of hits at the 16yd line and will be 17yd - 25yd

-Handicaps are shot as a mixed squad of other shooters at the same yardage (mixed schools)
